Perle

Perle is a registered 93% Wensleydale ‘08 ewe lamb. She was judged Best white long wool fleece at the New York Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck 2008! Her fleece is gorgeous, with tight curls all the way down her legs!

Not all the members of our flock are listed here, but this is a good representation.  Our next shearing will be in the spring of 2010.  If you are looking for a particularly long staple length, please contact us early so that we can try to allow the extra growth time before shearing, however, sometimes either the weather or the fleece dictate that the sheep be shorn before the desired staple length.

Oberon is an 81% registered Wensleydale ewe. Her charcoal grey, lustrous fleece was champion colored fleece at the 2006 Black Sheep Wool Gathering

Ida

Ida is a dark chocolate brown with a fine, tightly packed fleece that is nicely crimped She is a Corriedale Moorit/Wensleydale. We hope she will give us lambs next year that have the Wensleydale fleece with a Moorit coloring . . .

What a sweetie! This is an ’08 Teeswater wether. His fleece has fine tight curls, a hand spinners delight!

Cocoa is a 87% Wensleydale ewe. She has a soft grey fleece with lots of large curls.

Marion

Marian is a registered 90% Wensleydale ’09 ewe lamb. Her fleece has all the best of the Wensleydale characteristics, soft, lovely curl and luster.  She will be lambing in March!

Oscar is our registered Teeswater ram. He has an outstanding soft, curly fleece, with an unbelievable handle.

Bianca

This ’09 ewe lamb is a registered 50% Teeswater.  Rimington Crusader (Purebred Teeswater Ram) is her sire via AI. Her fleece is full of dense curls, shine with a soft lovely handle.
